Move Better
You'll learn correct movement patterns first — how to squat, hinge, push, pull and get up off the floor without hurting yourself. Everything else builds on that.
No pressure to perform at someone else's level. No need to keep up with anyone else. Just movement that suits your body, taught at a pace that works for you, with a welcoming group of people who are here for the same thing: to move, feel good and enjoy being part of it.
Most group fitness is built around intensity — how hard, how fast, how much. CMT is built around quality of movement, functional strength, and getting steadily better at things that matter in real life.
You'll learn correct movement patterns first — how to squat, hinge, push, pull and get up off the floor without hurting yourself. Everything else builds on that.
Functional strength for everyday life: carrying shopping, climbing stairs, getting out of a chair, keeping your balance. Not strength for its own sake.
You'll be surrounded by people at all stages, all working on their own version of the same thing. I measure you against you, never against the person beside you.
You don't have to work out which one you are. Your free assessment will give you a feel for where to start, and you're never locked in. On any exercise, in any class, you choose whichever level feels right for your body that day.
Confidence, mobility and basic movement
For beginners, anyone returning to exercise, older adults, or anyone who wants to feel more confident moving — whether that's for one exercise or the whole session. The focus is on correct movement patterns, mobility, balance, and the confidence to move safely.
Functional strength, balance and moderate conditioning
Greater strength challenge, better balance and coordination, and moderate cardio work — movement quality still comes first.
Higher work rate, complex movement, greater endurance
For a bigger challenge without sacrificing technique — higher work rate, harder variations, more endurance. Still far more accessible than traditional higher intensity classes.
I aim to earn your membership every single week — through good coaching, genuine care, and a room you actually look forward to walking into.
Every new member starts with a complimentary 20-minute Movement and Confidence Assessment. No fitness test, no judgement — just a chance for me to understand where you're at so I can coach you properly.
There's no program to wait for and no intake date. You show up, you train in the same class as everyone else, and for every exercise you pick whichever of the three levels suits your body that day.
You don't need to wait for a new group to begin. Start whenever you're ready — every session is scaled to the person doing it, and there's no room where everyone's weeks ahead of you and nobody explains anything.
A squat is still a squat. If your knees need it, you take the easier version. If your upper body's strong, you push yourself on the harder one. No pressure, nobody's comparing.
Some days you'll pick Foundations for everything. Other days you'll go Performance across the board, or mix and match exercise by exercise. That's not inconsistency — that's just training around a real body and how you're actually feeling.
I'll show you each version of every exercise and help you pick the right one, so you're never guessing.
There's no fixed reassessment date and no block to complete. As your confidence and strength grow, you'll naturally find yourself choosing Progress or Performance more often — and I'm always happy to check in with you on how you're going, whenever you'd like.
Most sessions are built around functional bodyweight movements that improve strength, balance, mobility and confidence for everyday life. Whether you're coming back after years away, rebuilding your confidence, or simply want to move more — you're welcome exactly as you are.
Every exercise can be modified to suit where you're at today. There's no pressure to keep up with anyone else. I celebrate progress, not perfection.
You'll have the chance to learn how to safely use dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands and other simple tools. You'll never be pushed before you're ready — but you'll always be supported to take the next step when you are.
Because classes are built around bodyweight exercise, you can keep training at home, while travelling, or on holidays with little or no equipment. A movement habit that fits around your life.
It's a relaxed twenty minutes. No fitness test, no judgement, nothing you need to prepare for. It gives us both a starting point, and it lets me tailor coaching to you specifically.
Classes run Monday to Thursday at Elite Performance and Wellness. Every membership is billed weekly and valid for 7 days — no joining fee, no lock-in contract, no hidden costs.
Choose how often you'd like to come. You can change or cancel at any time.
All prices include GST.
If CMT isn't working for you, just let me know — through the Gym Master app, by email, or by telling me face to face. One final billing cycle runs after you've told me, and that's it. No fee, no exit interview, no awkwardness.
Takes about two minutes through the GymMaster platform.
Your real first step — relaxed, and nothing to prepare for.
Wear whatever's comfortable. I'll take care of the rest.
No intake dates to wait for. Choose a membership, book your assessment, and you're in.
I coach people, not just workouts.
I'm a mum to four awesome 🥰 adult children, a health enthusiast, and someone who has always had a pretty strong belief in maintaining my fitness and looking after my body.
I served in the military for 11½ years and was convinced I was a version of GI Jane. Now I live with the wear and tear to show for it. 😏 I've also spent years working in physically demanding environments, so these days my body carries evidence of all that hard work. The knees have opinions, the back occasionally reminds me of who's boss, and I've had to learn to get a little smarter about how I move. I've learnt that looking after my body is a changing landscape which involves keeping moving, keeping it strong, and getting the best out of what I've got. I'll use this understanding and my life experiences when working with you.
I'm also co-owner of Elite Performance and Wellness HQ in Moonta, where I run higher intensity Hyrox based group fitness classes most days of the week.
Over the years, I've met plenty of people who want to exercise but don't necessarily feel like they belong in a gym. Maybe you've had a few years away from exercise while life, work or raising a family took priority. Maybe you've never really been into exercise at all. Or maybe you've tried gyms before and decided they just weren't your thing.
That's where CMT comes in.
CMT will provide opportunities for people to start moving at the level they want, or need to, without feeling like they have to know what they're doing, keep up with everyone else, or prove anything to anyone.
You'll get options for every exercise, encouragement, and a group of people who are there for the same reason; to move, feel good and enjoy being part of a like minded community.
And yes, there will be exercise. I haven't completely lost the plot. 😂
But there won't be any judgement, ego or expectation that you already know how to be "fit".
Just a welcoming place to move, learn, get stronger and feel good.
My goal is to help you move better, feel stronger, gain confidence, and enjoy being active in a safe and inclusive community.
Whether your goal is to move more freely, feel stronger, improve your balance, get fitter, or simply enjoy exercising somewhere welcoming — CMT gives you a clear path to get there. One movement, one class and one milestone at a time.
Not sure which level suits you? Wondering if you're fit enough to start? (You are.) Ask me anything — there's no such thing as a silly question.
Fill in the form and Deb will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks for getting in touch. Deb will reply within 24 hours.
